DESALINATION
English Acciona Agua CAP desalination plant will raise
gave CAP go to a contract with Acciona Agua SA of Spain, to build and operate what will be the first desalination plant built by a mine in the Atacama region.
The water treatment plant will be located in sea port of Punta Totoralillo, Caldera, and will allow CAP Mining-through-Pacific Mining Company to comply with the commitments made during the processing of environmental permit for North Black Hill project, located in the region. The plant in question would require an initial investment of $ 78 million deal technology to produce reverse osmosis , in its first stage, 200 liters per second, to supply such a plan to begin operations in early 2013
